Episode 99: "Halo: 'Reaper Squad' Logo.... plus something extra!!"

Hey ya' Guys!! Well, I've done the shoulder/upper arm part of the armor. Below you can see the stages of the logo process. Left Shoulder armor is painted with my design of the 'REAPER SQUAD: RS-012'.

All starts from a piece of design i drew at work. Tape the shoulder armor then the re-drawing, masking and cutting stages!!

Primmed and ready to roll....to the next stage!!!

TADAAAAAA..... painted and weathered !!!!!! 'REAPER SQUAD -012' at your service!!!

Guys, since the next episode will be the 100th.... I gonna wait (until its done OR something arrive) for something really good to share with you, so do be stay tuned. Still waiting for something to arrive in the mail.... looks bad since its been 1 month plus now since it was shipped from the states... but fingers crossed. Till then......

Episode 98: "Halo: Half way done...?"

Most productive week I had in over a year now, costume wise. Last 2 days I managed to assemble the cod piece to the butt XD, had it painted and did all the weathering for the painted pieces. To think of it, i might just get this suit up and running by the end of this fasting month.... except for the soft parts (undersuit), still need to order that from the Bay. Kree-Z out!!


How it looks assembled on my chair. Look closely and you can see the lower arm armor all done and ready for paint. As for the toys thats lying around.... well thats my son's.....really... XD

Episode 97: "Halo: Thigh Armor!"

Manage to start on,what i thought would be the hardest part of the armor to do, the thigh armor. It was a 3 piece set but still i had to extend it to make it more comfortable to wear. Got the right set done but left still needs trimming and paint. O yes, right lower leg is also done but still needs to be weathered.Kree-Z out!!

Episode 96: "Halo: The Gatling gun"

1st day of the Fasting month and i manage to complete my Gatling gun. Oyes, also thank you to tha fact that I was alone the whole day at home XD.

Before shot. Removed the decals and surface was sanded. Ready for paint.

Flat Black to compliment the armor look (not to mention the that it was the only spray I had) XD


Painting done.... now putting it back and adding some effects dry brushing to the look.



..............and there you have it... my Halo: 'REAPER CREW' Gatling gun!!!!! XD

Well, one down, which is about I say.. 8% of the complete suit done. XD Till next time, Kree-Z out!!

Episode 95: "Any given Sunday.... for paintball!!"

Was in Labuan yesterday for another day of paintball...organised by Madpaintball!! As usual, had a blast of a time and also marks my 1st time being a marshall.... and not to forget playing snake position and ending the game!! Cool!!! To quote the Road Warriors........"WHAT'A RUSHHHHhhhhhh!!!!"

Tuesday, 2nd Aug 2011, will be our 1st day of the Ramadhan fasting month..... thus no more paintball untill after Raya. So armor project is on 100% mode .... hopefully !! XD .... Kree-Z is out!!!

Episode 94: "My MRS!!"

Hey Guys. Story was initially my MRS wasn't into this costuming scene But after following me to my troopings and the 1st STCC where she got to meet the 501st Singapore Garrison, was actually where she got hooked on the Biker scout. And after 2 years... (my bad!!)... I finally got her a Scout armor... ironically from a seller from Singapore!! Here she is in action at the Old Go-Figures' outlet at the Mall.



Being a Sandtropper myself..... I guess my 'gun' is bigger!! XD

I should mention that this was my Mrs' 2nd costume... I actually got her a low grade clone armor costume (from China) which i painted to a Shocktrooper. Also have to mention that at one time, she was bugging me to get her an Imperial red guard costume. Well, that's my wife... Kree-Z huh??

Episode 93: "Halo: Started..again!!"

Hey guys, had this Mjolnir armor for about 2 years now but still i cant seem to have time to get it done... especially with my heavy work load at work these days. But at least its moving... slowly... but moving ;)


Bucket was done earlier this year. Not perfect but good enough i guess. Yip, I'm going for the Black spartan look for the armor.

Left leg was finally painted last month but still have not added any effects paint on it.... but will do that soon.

Next on the list of things to do will be the gatling gun for the armor. Need to repaint this baby and extend the barrels.

There you have it, a little update on the Mjolnir armor. Want to have it done before Helloween, but with my workload and 1 upcoming paintball tournament overseas this october, might not be able to make that dateline. Kree-Z is sad!!
